Deck Your Halls to Sell Your Home

Are you planning to list your home this holiday season? It’s a wise decision; the end of the year is a great time to sell—plus you’re likely doing more decorating than you normally would. Here are a few helpful tips to help you prepare:

Deck the halls… Remove some of the regular decorative items in your home before setting out your holiday decorations. Be sure that none of your holiday items are too big as they will make your room appear smaller.

Curb appeal is a priority! Maintaining the exterior of your home is also important. Make it inviting and safe by ensuring that the steps and sidewalks are free of snow, ice and leaves.

Seasonal Photos! First impressions are often made with your home’s online presentation. Be sure that photos representing your home are flattering, high-quality photos.

And finally, make sure that your home is cozy and inviting for Open Houses and showings by dialing up the heat, burning a holiday inspired candle, playing soft background music and offering a homemade holiday treat!

Happy Holidays!
